Hello gang. :-) Very very pleased with the progress of the Kickstarter so far. As we head into the middle period of this project, a time that is usually represented by lower funding/backsliding, I am very proud to say that you guys and gals are doing a hell of a job. I am seeing the project being shared around on social media pretty well, and for that I am very thankful! Our hope is that we keep having steady progress through the next 2 weeks and are unlocking a stretch goal a day if possible. We are very close on the Kobold Shaman, and I have no doubt that a backer will jump in and push us up over the $150.00 we need to unlock him.
If you are new to this project, please make sure that you are pledging a $ amount that actually represents what you are wanting to add on. i.e. do not wait until the end to pledge the amount you need to add on the items you want. The funds are not taken out of your account until the end of the Kickstarter, and there is no penalty for changing your mind. What it does do for the project, is helps push unlocking of Stretch Goals, and making the project have continual forward funding motion! :-)
In talking about the Bear King, who was unlocked yesterday, Felipe and I decided that we will be producing his throne as a separate add-on piece. Once it is sculpted i will present it and you will be able to add it on to your pledge. The Bear King himself is going to be posed in an "action" pose to make him a bit more useable in your games.

I really hate to make an update, but this bear King has been teasing us all day!! We are $26.00 short?? really???, Can someone just up their pledge for some add ons so we can unlock him already! The suspense is killing me!!! ;-)

Hello loyal backers! We have had another great day of funding support for this project! We saw several new pieces unlocked and are about $900 shy on The Bear King. This is one of my favorite pieces of art in the project.
We have come a long way in the short five days that we have been live. I know I sound like a broken record about this, but please share, share and SHARE!!! We need to get this Kickstarter into every corner that we can get it to. Right now I am sure there are people looking at it and just not seeing the value to take the risk onthe $360 pledge, but if we unlock all of the stretch goals for this project, that will be $6.00 a miniature. That will include 2 Dragons and several Large pieces. That is a steal in any market. :-)
There is some confusion about the existence of already cast materials. If you did not notice, at the bottom of the Kickstarter there is a Blue panel. These are pictures of the actual test castings of 12 of the miniatures for this project. They have been ink washed to highlight some of the details that are on these minis.

As planned, we will be getting a great shot in the arm with funding, which in turn unlocks more stretch goals!!! Wolfgang Baur has posted an update to the Tome of Beasts which should bring the Kobolds home to roost! Make sure you are checking back often to update your pledges because things should start unlocking pretty fast. Queen of Night and Magic is unlocked already as well as Blemmyes which is a large piece of death for your party!!! :-D Next up is the Grim Jester!!!
